The first in-print review I’ve seen is in the next MOJO. The reviewer (Stevie Chick - author of some Foo Fighters book in 2019) said the lyrics often seem placeholder giving some of the songs the feeling of being undercooked.
"We focused on the pop side of Foo Fighters and brewed it"
In commemoration of the release of the new album "Medicine At Midnight" by Foo Fighters, a rock band representing the United States , the band and all of Junmai Daiginjo's sake brewery, Sakata Sake Brewery (brand "Tenogawa") : Sakata City, Yamagata Prefecture) collaboration has been decided.
Members of Foo Fighters, who love sake, actually tasted and brewed two types of Junmai Daiginjo sake based on their favorite sake. This liquor is scheduled to be released from February 5, 2021 (Friday) according to the album release date.

It has a profound feeling and a sharp aftertaste. We focused on the rock side of Foo Fighters and brewed it. The solid skeletal mouthfeel and dignified appearance give vitality to tomorrow.
More info on what? The review is in the March issue which is out next week. It isn’t their album of the month so it doesn’t get a full page, just a standard one paragraph.
btw - the Sake is only available in Japan, you won't be able to get it internationally UNLESS there is companies that they supply - of which I have found 0 so far.
that's true, just I got the information from the brewery/distillery shop website and it said they don't do international delivery - so hopefully there is stock to be distributed to specific places for shops.
saying that, i don't even like Sake, had it when i was in Japan previously - maybe it was just the generic crappy brand but I would give it another try at some point.
i got the classic rock magazine the other day - will look at the article again and see what it mentions as i can't remember regarding documentaries etc.
Haha! To be honest I don't have any Japanese pressings on my collection, so you have to start somewhere (what better place than here, what better time than now).
By the way a Brazilian Foo fan I know via Instagram sent me yesterday the full album via Whatsapp. It was the real thing and apparently he knows a guy, who knows a guy... I don't know if a leak is old info but just wanted to mention. I wanted to resist temptation to listen, but I had to give in out of curiosity, lol.
i think in my stuff I've got a Japanese TCATS, Wasting Light and now this. ta @FooZealand - goodies deffo coming your way 😉 (edit - soon - got to get it sorted)

” they may have opened out their map a little more for Medicine At Midnight, but the Foos’ territory remains reassuringly familiar.”
