I'm really hoping for some oldies in the setlist. First album and rarities would be normal if this were an actual gig but I wonder if they'll do more of the hits since this will likely be streamed by tens of thousands (in fact I'd love to know how many tickets they sell tbh).
Do we think this will only be available during the live event and the few days after? I’ll be at work when it’s live and then still not have time to catch it in the days immediately proceeding ☹️
I would LOVE that but I'm sure it's just the interviewer taking an overexcited Dave comment seriously. I remember at Wembley 08 he said "fuck it, let's do 20 nights at the Astoria and play every song we've ever written". I nearly fainted!
I reckon like Cheese & Grain there'll be a few little jams or outros that include pieces of new songs. It's only a 9 song album & it's 3 months away from release still - it'd seem counterproductive if they played 5 new ones.
There will be surprises i guess, maybe two(Shame Shame and maybe a big rock song to say they're still making rock) new songs and snippets here and there (Sky Is A Neighborhood was played not soon before Run)
they'd need to keep it fresh for people...perhaps nothing new until early new year.........but at least they might mix up the setlist each time, introducing some older classics
im not sure. i wouldn't care really....but i think it's more exciting if it's genuinely live. the chance of the band taking requests.....technical issues...that live vibe is a better experience for the viewer i think

i'm tempted to get one still 😳

sadly, first album and rarities aren't the norm. but here's hoping 🤞
I asked for it in the Q&A. Agree not the norm but they wheel out some old stuff at the club gigs and this is (technically) a club gig.. of sorts.
I realise now "I asked for it in the Q&A sounds like asking Santa for a new toy 😂
Only bought one ticket though 😂
Good, I'm pleased they're being sensible!

it'll be available for around 48 hours after the event has finished x
Yeah I'm gonna need to either be up longer then that or available some other way later.
I was going to say they’ll no doubt put it on YouTube but, this is a paid event. So maybe not. 🤷🏻♂️
I’ve got a ticket. Will stay up - Saturday night treat as it were...
these look to be weekly

Hello we have to enter the code and go to the link, like 10 mins before? 😉
If its weekly can we have some in our time zone please 😂
imagine they do this every weekend up until album release in February 😍

Every weeks it's amazing, that's why there is a tab on the shop Live Stream Event merch 😊
are we going to see this Nandi Bushell girl from Ipswich as a special guest this weekend? 🥁make her play Everlong
Definitely - she’ll certainly do something... and whenever they return to London she’ll be there for sure
do you think we'll hear any new songs, other than 'Shame Shame' ?

If there are actually supposed to be "weekly webcasted concerts", I doubt we'll hear any other new songs this weekend. Here's hoping though!

would you feel cheated if it was a recording, played live to give the impression they're playing live? or does that not matter at all?
I don't care at all, as long I get to see them do something I haven't seen before! Super exciting!
How about you?
im not sure. i wouldn't care really....but i think it's more exciting if it's genuinely live. the chance of the band taking requests.....technical issues...that live vibe is a better experience for the viewer i think
Fair point I suppose but I'm still super excited about it and I don't really care! Let's hope there won't be too many technical issues though
