If its the one at westfield the walk to the stadium is like 5-10 minutes.
however after the gig you'll get caught in the one way system (westfield doesn't like people from the stadium afterwards), so it would take a lot longer to get back.
if its the one in stratford itself then you can wander a different route and avoid the queueing.
Anyone else jump in for the "VIP" tickets? Bit of a step up in price (albeit with Lithograph/etc), but I'm not sure I have the pace to run as we did at the last London stadium show :-)
Nor me. £170 was enough to spend anyway and we're not looking to be in the pit. I'll be looking out for a print to buy there, but other than that it's massively not worth it. Plus I was trying to get in there so quickly, I hadn't noticed there was a VIP option.
Got my pitch standing tickets. Anyone here been to a gig at the London Stadium before? I'm thinking of taking my son who will be a tall 12 y/o (he's already over 5'3"). He'll easily look 14 but wonder if security are likely to want proof.
Is this the first time they've done a VIP ticket for a guaranteed front pit spot in the UK? I know there were some for the Glasgow show in 2019 (separate beer garden, but without a guaranteed position up front). Guessing there may have been some for Hyde Park in 2006?
It's a natural progression to the business model of big gigs, but glad to see it's not a closed shop and that they've kept it open to the GA fans who get there early as well.
See, I was talking about the MK dates from before that! I had tickets for that Wembley gig, but I couldn't make he rearranged date a the bowl so I missed out.
EDIT: I just checked, and it's 10 years ago. That's ages ago!
part of my guess is that it's to do with the venues wanting it too... charge that much extra for an outgoing cost of lets say £10 top whack and they make a decent amount of money on it. the fact they're doing it for some seating too is just pointless.

There's loads of good places to eat in Westfield Stratford, so you'll have no problem there.
I'd forgotten how bad ticket stress is!
i've missed it 😁
Roll on 10:00! 😊

Success…..👍👍👍
an extra £70 for a litho/wristband and guaranteed into the pit isn't worth it to me.
Nah definitely not for me.

agreed. 70-80 is plenty enough per ticket for me, and if i get rail one day i get rail. if not ah well

I can’t imagine they’ll ask him for ID. If you’re accompanying him he should be fine

I think they have done it before. Milton Keynes maybe?
No MK pit access was gained by being at the right gate at the right time to get the wrist bands. I think GnR are ticketing the pit
It was so long ago 😂
It was indeed. At least Dave will be able to walk this time!

Let’s hook up on the Friday ❤️
Glad they finally announced some UK stuff. 🤓
