I can't choose! They always do something different that makes each time a new experience.
I didn't get to see them at dingwalls, but I wish I'd be there just to see Scott go up on stage for beard gropage! π€£
The last time I saw them was when they supported Rick Astley at the o2... ππ Good Times

For me, it’s easy. Madison Square Garden, NYC • November 13, 2011. Not only was this this my favorite Foo Fighters concert, it’s one of the beat concerts I’ve EVER been to.
Probably the Milton Keynes gig in 2015
I know I saw them at Milton Keynes a few years ago, but I can't remember when! I wish I'd been sensible and made a note in my postboard signature π
When I saw the foos at the roundhouse, a fight broke out right next to me, due to a guy smoking π Dave G stopped playing and shouted at the guys fighting π€£ that was a good gig
Stank of weed at Milton Keynesπ
When they played Tassie in 2018. It was a 5k capacity gig (compared to 50k the previous night), they didn't have all their production junk with them (cough penis walk), Dave was running around without shoes on, and Pat played the intro to Lexicon Devil. My shirt got ripped straight down the middle so Yeti handed me setlists and drumsticks and such. And Chris sang Kiss the Bottle with Rise Against.
Honerable mention to the Roxy show for Sonic Highways only because it was so 'intimate'. The vibe was weird and the setlist was yawn, tho so it doesn't win π
Each for different reasons:
Dingwalls 1.0
The second night of the O2 in November 2007
NME awards 2011
and Milton Keynes 2011
Haha Dave no shoes and your shirt getting ripped both make me laugh
Favs:
Electric Factory - November 2000
Paladino’s - June 2007
Black Cat - Oct 2014
It has to be Ullevi 2015 for me
@Bex super jealous you got to see them with Rick Astley!
Also excellent - setlist wise - not the whole broken leg thing ;)
NME awards 2011
Without a doubt one of my faves
also... accidental free bar.
Metro in Chicago in 2017
I have 2, maybe 3...
It was kinda fun remembering those times. :) I should do it more often.
We were so excited for you that you got into Kevin’s garage show - it felt like a victory for the whole board
If we're talking about shows we've personally been to, the itunes one was enjoyable for the Queen/Lemmy covers and that and the NME because they were the last time I bothered to queue for the barrier (not to mention there was a good group of us at each for fun company).
But Reading 2012 had the best setlist.
That's amazing, I'm jealous π
It was hilarious, loved it π
Radio one competition winners only at the Mean Fiddler, 2003.
Or The Holy Shits at the Islington Assembly Rooms 2014
Was Sacramento Wasting light your.
Cage elephant opened daughter caught one of Taylor's drumsticks
(Also when Dave & co. Opened for the Police at Dodger Stadium in '07)πΈπΆπ
Hard to choose, but the Richmond show in 2017 was amazing - the setlist was phenomenal and they played for 3.5 hours.
Or my birthday show in Dallas 2018 where chris gave me a big birthday shout out.
I was at that Police show - I think Taylor was so excited he watched them from the audience?
Taylor did when they announced tour too with Dave.
Dave outran Dodger security and climbed a tower above fans during Foos opening setππΆπΈ
@elayblooze Hahaha oh yeah I forgot about that little sprint
Cheese and grain.
OK so we can pick more than one? because I'm not sure if I could choose just one(I've seen them over 87 times).
These would be my top tops, amazing intimate fun atmosphere (and the setlists were INSANE)!
9:30 Club Oct 2005
Charlotte NC Sep 2012
Black Cat Oct 2014
O those three I would probably pick Charlotte (it was fucking amazing- I walked away on cloud 9), or Black Cat above that 9:30 Club one.
And this one was also one of the best setlists in recent years:
Richmond VA Oct 2018
Honorable mention to these special ones I also witnessed first hand and have spectacular nerd memories of:
9:30 Club Nov 2000
The Troubadour 2001
24 Hours of Foo MTV Studios June 2005
Roswell June 2005
Vegas 2003
Black Cat 2003
Berkeley Afoostic Gigs 2006
Las Vegas 2008
Yes !!!!!!!
Mean Fiddler
I'd have to say the 2005 Roswell show just for the whole experience.
