I listened as I have 0 impulse control - the clips range from about 15 - 30 seconds and most of them still essentially sound like Foo Fighters songs (though the Foos clearly trying something different).
Specific song thoughts: Love Dies Young is real poppy, but I like the sound of it, Shame Shame and Medicine at Midnight are definitely funkier than I am used to from them, I like the latter more, but Nate's bass getting some time to shine is lovely. Very interested to hear the whole album!
I listened to every snippet and can safely say that I never felt so fucking PUMPED for a new album since Wasting Light.
it’s not fair to judge from snippets of 15 to 30 seconds but FUCK, if that got me so damn hyped I can only imagine how fucking great this album will be. At least for once Dave’s old “unlike anything we’ve ever done” will sound the truest and in the best way possible.
what I took from this quick, incomplete experience is comfortable songwriting, going for what’s exciting instead of more of the same just to keep people happy. Which means a lot of people will hate it, but I for one welcome ANYTHING they do when it’s this fucking inspired.
I like what i'm reading! Don't mind it being more poppy, if it's good. I could use some good uplifting music. Funky and different makes me even more curious. Soon🤩
i reckon, as everyone has suggested...that early next week this whole thing will kick off. emails....album bundle pre-orders....new song/video.......then album drop on Friday
I can't see the album coming next year when Dave said in interview its coming "soon soon" and you don't put teaser everywhere if you release something next year i don't think so ^^ (they even added a teaser on Spotify) it's just my guess
Waiting on a War sure sounds a lot better than in that clip that seemed to be from a documentary on the making of the album of some sort. Can't wait for the first single and an actual album title!
That’s the only thing I know, it just happened to be via a very reliable source but it wouldn’t be much of a stretch anyway. Historically, singles drop months ahead of an album release and so far we don’t have a single yet plus the year is pretty much over already
Run was released in June 2017 and the album was September of that year, don’t know the exact timeline of other albums in that regard but if I recall correctly it’s a very similar one

how did you get that, out of interest
ah it's on Reddit, ok
I won't be listening because it's not right. However I am doing a lil dance right now... ANY MINUTE NOW!!!

@Simon should be loving this right now
Trying not to listen..
..please describe them to me
Yeah he would!
Foo Fighters LPX
Tracklist
Cloudspotter (Big departure from Them)
Chasing Birds (slow charming tempo)
Holding Poison ( haunted preview one of the teaser)
Love Dies Young (Very very amazing too short for something but very new of them)
No Son of Mine (Dave Birthdays teaser very Foo Fighters /Motorhead on this one)
Shame Shame (experimental with a cool drum fill)
Making A Fire (The most Bowie, 70s, very amazing)
Medicine at Midnight (Back at something more experimental Arctic Monkeys vibe)
Waiting on a War (Most Powerful snippet here, vocals, violins, acoustic truly a masterpiece, Dave Voice is amazing)

Wasting Light now animate on Spotify, it's coming,
With these snippets Leak, i was thinking what if the album drop with the LPX email?
LPX november 10th
Something will drop soon, maybe a single, video, movie, not exactly sure what that will be but the album is only coming next year

When snippets leak, album is not so far 📼📼📼🙏
🔥⚰️🔥
No, the album is actually coming next year, it’s not a prediction 🤣
I obviously can’t divulge my sources so it’s fine if you choose to take it with a grain of salt but that’s what’s happening.
BUT — do not forget that next year is only a little over a month away so it’s not really that big of a stretch.
I can see the album drop Friday 13th with a single on LPX email ^^
You can affirme Foo Fighters X will drop on 2021? So what's the point of all that things if there is nothing dropping next week?
I'm lost
From the clips I am going to make a premature guess that "Making A Fire" will be the first single.
I said something will drop, just not the album yet.
yes I can affirm that but, again, 2021 is just a little over a month away.
Tell us more please, i don't want your source but more album name, First Single, a new single next week?
So the strategy is the same one single per month and a release in January
Waiting on a War sure sounds a lot better than in that clip that seemed to be from a documentary on the making of the album of some sort. Can't wait for the first single and an actual album title!

But if we have a single next week, it could be December?
