New album in the works

It was first revealed by Dave back in July 2019 that Foo Fighters are working on a new album. Since then it has been confirmed to be arriving in 2020 and....that's about it.
Here is what we know so far:
- Set to release this year, 2020
- Being recorded in a house somewhere
- Greg Kurstin producing again

Didn't know that Greg Kurstin was producing again - where was that confirmed? Slightly disappointed in that; I like C&G but was hoping that they'd change direction again. Of course they still could, but...
Bring it on. Surprised they haven't released more about UK activity yet. My bank account would quite like to know when they're coming over 😁
Really really hoping this album will be more along the lines of Wasting Light! That album kicked my ass.

I'm hoping for something a bit psychedelic
I'm hoping for a new album with no extra gimmicks and a full band recording of the first album.
It would be great if this one would be a sort of modern recreation of S/T with the anniversary and all.
I do not mean rerecorded S/T, but the process - just songs laid down quick and dirty with no extra production, with whoever playing whatever suits the song best.
Could this be the year they pull a Beyonce/Eminem/others and just drop it out of nowhere?
I feel like a that qualifies as “something [we’ve] been threatening to do for years.” They kind of did it with Saint Cecilia, but they couldn’t, quite, not be dramatic, they had to do the mysterious countdown thing.
my prediction is it will be released on July 4th - 25th Anniversary of S/T 😎
I have a feeling the album will be released April 10th.
I thought the board shutting down might correlate with a new single being released .... it wouldn't surprise me if we hear something substantive in February.

I went to the Postboard all the time, but I probably haven't looked at the main page in ten years.
Seems like generally speaking there are two types of band websites in recent years. Those like Metallica's, which is jam packed full of content and information and those like Foo Fighters which......isn't, sadly. I can't really remember the last time they had what you'd consider a proper website.
