Foo Fighters landmarks and places of inspiration

I'm going on a US trip next year. After realising Weenie Beenie is named after a hot dog stand in DC it got me thinking about visiting a few landmarks or important Foo Fighters related places or things to see / do.

For example:

Saint Cecilia Hotel

Cubby Bear Chicago

Dave Grohl Alley

Taylor Hawkins Mural Laguna Beach

9:30 Club / Dave Grohl Statue

Anyone have any suggestions of places related to the band to go and visit?

I don't believe the mural is there, anymore. Just the small Hawk and cymbal behind the surf shop.

  • If you head to the Guitar Center on Sunset Blvd in LA, you can find Pat's handprints with Germs on the Rock Walk outside the store. (They used to have a Taylor mural over the door but it wasn't there when I last went in 2022.)

There's also the Grammy Museum in East LA, where there are pictures of the band at past awards shows on the walls, and when I was there, Billie Eilish's custom Taylor shirt that she wore for her performance at the 2022 Grammys.

There's also drum skins on the wall inside signed by Dave, Taylor and Josh.
