Norah just dropped a new episode of her podcast and she's playing along with none other than Dave.
I'm at minute 25 (it's 1:30+ hrs long) and they're doing "Statues"! w00t!
Love Norah, love Dave, this is fun.
1.Statues
2.Flame Twin (Norah Jones) with SLTS/InBloom mini outros
3.Ballad of the Beaconsfield Miners (meh)
4.Razor (as it should've been done and/or should be re-recorded)
5.Everlong
6.Virginia Moon

Nice, thanks for sharing that!
Nice!
I just finished it! It's wonderful, so good to hear him just chatting again. The songs were beautiful, nice to hear him singing and not screaming.
He does touch on losing Virginia last year which made me tear up when he's talking about writing Show Me How. I also teared up at Statues as I played that at my Mum's funeral but it sounded gorgeous.
Nora has such a beautiful voice and was picking up the songs on the piano so easily, I did come away feeling so jealous of both their musical talents!
Definitely worth a listen!
Just wonderful! Very good episode.
I've been in love with Norah's music from the get go. After seeing her live in 2004 I realised she was a true musician.
Go give this a listen!
Thanks, hope to listen to it this weekend...
She's still on my buckets list. She's been very few times in Mexico and I wasn't able to see her.
I own most of her albums (I copied Feels Like Home from a friend, and I think I'm just missing her "Featurings" album), and enjoy them a lot.
I planned to get into her years ago as I loved her on the Rome project with Jack White, Danger Mouse & Daniele Luppi. Then the Foreverly album with Billie Joe Armstrong. Purchased Feels like home and then just never picked anymore up.
IMHO thats her worst. Dont know if that’s because it was the one I didn’t own and properly listened on CD (you’re of age, you know what I mean right?) LOL.
You’re not asking, but I’d recommend starting with “Little Broken Hearts”, solely based on the fact that Dangermouse produced it.
Then I’d go to “The Fall”, “Daybreaks”, “Not Too Late” and “Begin Again”…
“Come away with me” can come at any time, it is a perfect album but it is a bit moody.
Or you can ease her in again with a more genere flexible album, like “Featuring…”, if it blows, you still get Virginia Moon.
I remember hearing Little Broken Dreams and digging it. Just putting it on now again. I have the Fall through some particular means but can't recall how exactly.
Also loved this performance with Dave
Not seen this before, and it's my fave Paul track - thank you for sharing!
Loved the podcast ep.
Yaaaas, Razor video.
