Honestly no idea, struggling to figure it out myself. Doors open half an hour before showtime though so plenty of time to me fiddling with it without missing anything good
I had some problems connecting veeps to the chromecast (no problem with other apps) , but my girlfriend either restarted or reconfigurated the chromecast, and then i worked fine.
I think the last time I used mine it needed so many updates it was basically pointless. I’m sticking with the iPad… I’m thinking portable could be useful
It's a tough one and big shoes to fill, he'll also know everyone will be watching him more than the other guys. I think he was great, he'll soon settle in and hope the fans give him a good reception at the gigs, make him feel more comfy.
I thought they pitched it just right. As others have said, it was always going to be complicated, but i think they did the intro in a fittingly silly way that feels authentic to the band. There were nice nods to Taylor. Josh feels like a good fit. It is different, but not bad different
I think that's the important thing, it's not T, but he's not trying to be T and that's the best kind of replacement. Josh has played with many different types of bands, he knows how to adapt and still play like himself.
I noted that at no point has the band defined Josh and what his place in the band will be. Is it just for this year? This tour cycle? For as long as he wants? I like it this way. People have kind of made up their minds, but I don't think they'll ever come out and put a definition on his time in the band.
Totally agree, just right for the circumstances. People were complaining there was no out and out mention of T but it wasn’t an interview, it was playing some tunes with the guys, with subtle references to T throughout. I’m sure they were thinking of him with every note played.
The intro made me laugh and Aurora made me tear up. They did great and you could tell that they all get along well with Josh and are happy as heck he accepted their offer. I loved how they cut to him so quickly in the intro lol

That's a fat fucking lie
Has anyone used veeps before? Do you know if its possible to chromecast from the app? Or do I have to watch it on my phone like a jebroni?
^^ These are fun!

The chat is impossible to follow. Totally getting anxiety ha !
there's a chat?
There is. You can't read anything before it disappears off the page.

Ooo, pictures!
I can cast veeps from my iPhone to my home TV, without the chat. Or I can watch on my computer with chat. So I'm watching on TV.
I used to be able to cast from my computer to TV for veeps concerts but something's wrong and my TV won't recognize--I'm sure my fault

I'm watching on the tv and I'm glad there's no chat!
Im loving this!!
If you hover over the picture in the browser, there should be a mouse over option in the upper right corner "Chat on" / "Chat Off"
Boo! I missed the whole thing thanks to work. Ohh well, at least I can catch the rewatch thing.
loved that. was very relaxed and a great way to introduce Josh
Josh is a great fit for the band. He's played in a bunch of bands and on my favorite NIN album The Slip!
Surprisingly quiet in here!
I like Josh, even if it did seem a bit awkward but it will always feel awkward after T.
agreed, introducing him their way!
The new songs sound great live.
Especially when Aurora got played. That was the first song where T made his mark. I'll admit tearing up hearing the intro riff.
Josh added a nice touch to No Son of Mine. It was a cool version
I think that was a nod to T - hopefully it’s a permanent addition to the setlist
I could go another round of that, they are on the mend..

It would also be wrong to be like T because he was T and it would be weird for someone to just clone his playing.
If he is to be a long term full member then he needs to put his flair on the drums.

It was an introduction to Josh and the album is the dedication to Taylor. That's how I'm seeing it.
