Now I'm working out the finer details of how I'll get to one airport on the Sunday and fly back to a different one the day after the gig. Why do we do this to ourselves π€£ 100% worth it though.
I both envy and don't envy you guys jet-setting around the place to see them. Just trying to sort out all the travel and accomadation would do me in, irrespective of whether I could even afford it. I panic enough getting one train down to London!
I've been biding my time for months for this moment π I love travelling, an excuse to see somewhere new and see my favourite band at the same time is the best thing in the world to me! I've saved my holiday and cash for it. Just annoying it's all squashed at the same time.
To be fair travelling by train to London is probably more stressful than flying! Starting off in London definitely makes life easier. Can be at Heathrow in an hour.
I just get too stressed about it all. Like, half an hour after I book trains I'm worrying if I really did choose the right day or something, same with hotels. Arranging everything for one trip is stress enough, I couldn't do it for a whole bunch of stuff. I wish I could though, travelling around and also seeing the band seems fun!
I've always wondered what it was like, seeing how "the other half live" following the band around the world. I'll report back after this summer. My neck never really recovered after Leeds & Reading back to back last year π Headstands on a daily basis to get it up to par for this summer...
Do I book x in case nothing else happens or do I hang on for better dates or logistics? June dates aren’t good as will have just arrived back from UK....turnaround and go back a month later! Although I’ll see nearer the time, if someone is selling and if all this hype comes to nothing!
No one told me it was going to be this stressful being a Foo fan! Driving me π€ͺ
Noo if I just do night one I can do both from Stansted. But if I want to fly back on Thursday instead then it'd take me back to Luton rather than Stansted. Hmmmm π¬

Buy a new tshirt π
I hadn't booked flights yet.... Looks like I could take the Thurs off as well but I'm off the next week for Glastonbury.
But part of me is like fuck it. Go to both. Take the whole week off. Go to valencia too.
π
Fuck it, go to both. Now you're tempting me to go to night two. If the ticket gods smile on me tomorrow, I guess I'll just have to...
Step 1 buy tickets
Step 2 work out logistics π

you guys are mad. every time ππ€
I'm googling trains from marseille to valencia.....
I may need to reign it in though as I'm going to Boston too and don't want to use all my holiday for the year in May and June. Have Glastonbury too.
Two days in nimes I'll try to make work though! Can take a half day and fly back Thurs morning I think.

Oopsie daisy, here we go again. This is my 'plan' as well.

You have a plan?! Ooooh... do share.... π
Panic, panic some more and buy lots of tickets π that's the plan @dave_patch
That sounds like the best way forward... I'll do the same. ποΈ
I did Glasgow, Dublin and Reading in a week whilst only taking one day off work last year π not doing that again! She says then does it again....
Was gonna say the same π€£
Yeah this trickle thing is sooo stressful!
you buy single/one way (not return) flight tickets? π
It is....

You'll always find a ticket closer to the date. I just prefer have it in advance so I can sort flights etc.
I have three variations of hotel bookings for nimes currently π€£
Jesus π
Yeah I like to be organised. But I essentially want to do it all incase I miss out - but also logistically can’t do that ha
NIGHT TWOOOOOOO
Da fuq are we doing π€£
What do I do- I've got the tickets in my basket?! Does that mean I should????
It means you should

Yes. The ticket gods blessed you.
To be fair it was really easy this morning!
There's a coach from Luton to Stansted. Takes an hour and a half.
