I wanted to get one standing ticket for France - even tho I don’t know if I’ll go yet. But didn’t and standing is sold out. But seating not. Might wait for the next round of extra tix released
Can I tap you for tourist tips pls? 😂 I'm going to fly over either the Thurs or Friday night. I'm probably flying into marseille. Is it worth spending a few day there? Are there any beach places handy? What about montpellier?
Or is there enough around nimes to entertain for the whole time? My mates are arriving from the Sat and going to nimes. So I'll either go there sat or Sunday morning.
I've been to Nice and the areas round there a couple of times but not this side of the coast. Love South France so am excited!
Unpopular opinion but Marseille is a bit rough and definitely be careful if you’re going to be a lone woman there. Good seafood though! Montpellier is great- that whole area is well connected by trains (provided there’s not a strike), so you’ll be able to train Marseille- Nimes- Montpellier.
I wouldn’t bother getting a car because driving in all of them is a bitch. You’ll prob want to do the surrounding areas until your mates arrive as there’ll be enough in Nimes to keep you all entertained Sat-Wed AM. Message me if you fancy an aperitif Sunday eve as that’s when I’ll be there :)
As for beaches...there is one but it’s not the most glamorous. You can get a coach for under 5 euro to Le Grau du Roi. Instead I’d recommend the Pont Du Gard. Not a beach (it’s a viaduct), but great swimming and it’s where the locals go. If you’re beach mad, you’d be better off going west of Montpellier as that’s where all the great touristy beaches are....Palavas les Flots, Sète, Perpignan, Frontignan.
tempted for Nimes it’s a nice arena standing sold out.l but can get on resale just wondering does anyone know if there is gold circle or just standing I can’t seem to work it out 🙈
Thanks for this! Will have a good look. I've travelled alot on my own so that element will be fine. Look shit and don't flash valuables usually does the job 😂 although would be typical that I survive Colombia and Guatemala unscathed but get mugged in South France!
Then they were in again the week after with 'sold out' banners over some of the dates. You can book the new dates they added though, just call the box office.
Exactly my thought process...I'm flying back on Wednesday afternoon and just don't think the logistics of going to both nights in Nimes then Valencia will work out. I need to wash my gig t shirt, for one 😂

Oui
What about Milan? ;)
I'll be in Nimes Sun-Wed. I used to live there so know a few good watering holes if anyone wants to join!
Doesn't seem much love for the Valencia gig here - but I gots 2 tickets and can't wait! Friday night show followed by a weekend of sun and cervezas.
I'm all set for Nimes.... and about 80% sure on Valencia. Both will be great!
Now bring on a UK run.... 🤘
I’m thinking about it. But currently booked for something else that day. And already doing 4 other Foo shows that week/the week prior.
The venue looks incredible
Slightly shocked that they've not sold out straight away...
They rarely do when it’s festivals - especially Day festivals on a week day - most people won’t travel for it.

I think im working that weekend 😔
Edit: I'm not working, it's literally two days before France. Hmm. Aerosmith on the Saturday too. Hmm.

Night two added for Nimes.
might be a good idea to update the first post in this thread @Simon 🤷♂️
Yes sir!
Man! I don’t even know what to make of this tour
😑
Steps in my head:
Fuck I can't do it
Wait I could fly back first thing
Actually no that's logistically impossible
Do I really need sleep
I do need sleep
Do I need to go to work?
Sadly yes
Fuck it just buy the ticket and work out logistics later
😊
I miss the times when they just announced like, 10-20 shows in one go. Good times.
i miss finding new dates on a Wednesday morning in Kerrang! magazine

Different times.
