I think it sounds great. I find it a sign of respect when your songs get re-worked. This really is a good tune, both versions. The vocal harmonies shine on both versions.
Mark Ronson has a new show on AppleTV+ (Watch that Sound) which premieres on July 30. Trailer was dropped this week. Dave's has an appearance in it, so maybe he will do reversions for some of their guests.

I really don't like the chasing birds remix. The sped up vocals ruins it
Love FF, love Pres Hall, but this did not land for me at all.
I really like the Making A Fire remix, but agree on the Chasing Birds ... that remix is just terrible!
Another listen to the Chasing Birds remix .... it could have worked, the horns are pretty cool, but the sped up vocals destroy it, and make it hard to listen to.
Yeah it's only the sped up vocals that ruins it.

I didn't know it was delayed, went onto Banquet's website on the off-chance there were some left and it let me pre-order it. No idea whether it'll actually work but at the worst I'll just get a refund so worth a go.

Banquet are pretty up front on stuff so if they realise that's happened and they can't guarantee it they'll just cancel/do it on an order to order basis.
Yeah, I like ordering from them because they're always reliable. Hopefully it'll work.

For anyone on the UK South Coast, Music's Not Dead in Bexhill had a box full as of 8.30 this morning. They're running a pop-up at the De La Warr pavillion today. I was one of the last in the queue so I reckon they've still got plenty.
