Saw an ad for this on tv that says its premiering on Saturday. Hopefully an international thing as it says its also on Youtube. Foo Fighters are slated to take part in this. https://www.globalcitizen.org/en/media/vaxlive/
Still quite nice to see them getting to play in front of a crowd! Quite shocked nobody mentioned this before I did honestly. I randomly came across a TV ad for it and it supposedly being such a big thing, you'd think there would be quite the heavy campign to get people to watch, yet hardly anything about it here in the States.
it's being shown on 8th May, so...initially, I believe the show was a private event, with the intention of showing it later, which is why it hasn't really been pushed just yet. no doubt it'll be all over the place later this week
Oh it must have been amazing to have been there and seeing them back on stage! I knew about it from the FB groups but it's a shame that there hasn't been much about it in the States. We were just saying today Australia needs some carrots to dangle to people to get them to get vaccinated, most either want to wait for Pfz stocks or can't see what is the point. I'm looking at all these gigs scheduled for over the next year (with international artists) and wondering if they will go ahead :( Plus I'd loved to be able to escape to Europe to go to Nimes!
Vax Live: The Concert to Reunite the Worldairs Saturday, May 8th at 11 p.m. ET/PT on ABC, ABC News Live, CBS, YouTube, iHeartMedia broadcast radio stations, and the iHeartRadio App.YouTube will also stream an extended version of the event with an additional performance by NCT 127 and appearances from YouTube creators Daniel El Travieso, Kati Morton, ShootforLove, Thembe Mahlaba, and the Try Guys.
Is it just me or is the crowd mixed almost louder than the band? Horrible mixing aside (can't really hear Nate), I never thought I'd miss Dave's WALLLLLRIGHT!!!! screams. lol

Their first live show in front of an audience for quite some time. Can't wait to watch it.
They played...
All My Life
Everlong
Back in Black
Times Like These
My Hero
Best of You
Can't wait to see it, they looked so happy from the stills I've seen... Dave in his happy place!
Someone on one of the groups suggested that they may only show a couple of the songs on the tv show ☹️
yes I doubt they'd show all 7 songs 🤷♂️

It’s like they lost faith on MaM. 🙄
Yeah, I can see them not playing Shame Shame for a casual audience, but something like Making A Fire wouldn’t have brought the energy down
from rolling stone

Nice! A great performance of Everlong, looks like Chris brought out the ’57 Les Paul for the special occasion. His backing vocals sounded great too!
Wish we could have seen all the Foo foo-tage... Dave looked so happy to have an audience again!
It wasnt a Foo crowd though so they had to play their big hits and bring out Brian Johnson too.
