As well as the standard newsstand edition of MOJO, there is a subscribers edition with a cover free of text & at the very end of the article it says:
For details of a special Foo Fighters collectors' edition of this issue, keep an eye on foofighters.com
MOJO's sister publication Q has done a few collectors edition issues over the past few years. All come with a unique cover of the magazine alongside something else. Interpol's edition came with an unreleased song on 7" for £9.99 and The 1975 had similar treatment (only the 7" wasn't unreleased material).
Whereas the Vampire Weekend special edition was packaged with their new album on orange cassette & the Ed Sheeran edition came with an A2 poster.
I asked MOJO's editor what the deal was this time around & he said "We can't say at the moment."
So. I guess we'll find out tomorrow.

ooh, interesting. I may wait until this becomes available.
any idea of what time?
No. I'm only guessing it's tomorrow as the special Q magazines went on sale the same day as the newsstand edition was available, but then they also carried a full page ad saying what was included with the special edition and where to get them from.
ah ok, it's just the Green Day special edition of Q they advertised on the Monday with the mag out Tuesday, didn't get delivered til later in the week anyway.
That's fair, will just keep my eyes peeled.
Ooh! Foo stuff!
I want a special edition. waaah
Would it be bad to ask to have the article uploaded? I cannot find anywhere to buy the issue in the States.
you can buy it here for delivery
Ordered mine. Is there anything of substance in the Kerrang! issue?
When the mag is off shelves I’ll upload it.
Once upon a time I’d get the articles up ASAP but there are so few music magazines these days that I don’t want to discourage people from actually picking the issue up.
It’s a nice album-by-album history of the band, but there’s nothing new in any of it. The open-letter from Dave introducing the feature is the only new content;

What is the special part?
That's what the first post is referring to - it hasn't been announced what the Foo one consists of, but that's what similar editions have been, so there may be a 7" coming.
How long between publishing the regular issue and the collectors issue announce usually made going by past issues?
With the Q versions they've carried an ad for what the special edition consists of, this is just mentioned as a footnote so who knows what'll happen with this one.
Thank you for sharing!
has anyone seen any update on this? suppose with the stuff going on they have no need to rush it...
