Ok, so I was fibbing a bit when I said the crappy audio source of the Velvet Elvis show from 25 years ago today was the only recording in the download topic earlier today. That is no longer true. π
Enjoy this rare gem now finally available thanks to the tapers, some helpful guys who transferred the tapes and myself who put it all together!

nice
Downloading it now, thanks @Simon , thank you tapers and helpful guys!
what a scoop!
'Food Fighters'.
thats what i thought they were called too, at the start. to be fair. haha
This is wonderful ππ
Ha, the taper was a bit embarrassed his error is forever retained in the video. His friend told him the name over the phone and he misheard.
Isn't it just! As said in the article we've known about this video for a long, long time but never thought we'd actually see it. Was an honor to put it all together and of course sharing it with everyone else to enjoy!
hope Foo Fighters recognise this and share.
Awww watching Nate makes me giggle π
Well that was an absolute treat! Loved it! Thank you guys for making it happen and for sharing
Also - I could live with that setlist
That's awesome Simon. Thanks!
So the official band Twitter account shared it out. Noice. Cool cool cool cool.
Congrats and thank you
Thank you, Simon! Love this! How cool! You continue to be our king ππ¦
Their Facebook shared it as well!

Gonna watch it now.
PS: the food fighter thing is simply awesome.
@Simon , forgive me if I missed this somewhere, but how did you track down Travis and/or Ryan, or did they find FFlive?
thank you @Simon
Thanks very much!! Awesome find
This is awesome!! π₯³π₯³π₯³
my hopes and dreams came true!!
you must be buzzing!! π
How amazing is this π
Awesome! π
woop woop go Simon!
It's certainly nice to get the recognition. I did try calling my local paper but they weren't interested at all.
Why would your local paper give a shit if Foo Fighters tweeted your video?! βΊοΈ
It was a joke, you melon.
I did actually email some of the music sites with it though, none replied, so it was nice for the band themselves to push it out, great that more people get to see it.
One thing i reflected upon is how Nates neck have put up with 25 years of slow heavy headbanging? I cant even do that for 1 song.
i know lad i know π
I still just love William's drumming.
Glad that they tweeted-posted, it's amazing what you've shared!
Watching this also made me think about how tough these first shows must have been and here we are 25 years later!!
Thanks for the link, Simon. I'm keeping it for later. π
