Will we get a CalJam in 2020?

Part of me thinks there absolutely has to be one this year as it’s FF25 but the other part of me thinks there absolutely won’t be one because they will have other stuff planned.

I think It is hard to get a better ending to Cal Jam than the Nirvana reunion. I wouldn't be surprise if that was the last one. I wish they proved me wrong.
If we are getting one this year I hope they make it a retrospective one to really celebrate FF25
I know the original plan was for 2019 to do it then and have Them Crooked Cultures do it. Not sure what really changed that (I'd guess maybe not making enough $$$ in 2018 or difficulty booking enough of a lineup to make it work?).
I don't think they really planned to end on the Nirvana thing necessarily.

Maybe the can make it mobile, like Lollapalooza. Do one in Pacific NW at the Gorge?

I currently have no commitments after October, so that'd be nice!
The TCV stuff is an interesting one, but kind of glad they didn't have anything for them last year as I had some of my most enjoyable gigs with the foos because of it.
I’m busy in June, August and December - otherwise? COME AT ME!
I had a feeling that CalJam 2018 was not as profitable as 2017 - they dropped ticket prices and made the Friday night included in the 2018 price - as 2018 was in the G&G tour cycle whether people chose to go to a show rather than the festival.
And it must be a shit lot of work to pull a festival together.
I'd love another CalJam because its fun for people to meet up and hang out but I won't be surprised if we don't get one.

The past two landed on my birthday weekend - last year would’ve been right on my birthday (Saturday) - I was so looking forward to celebrating with Foo every year 😔

I didn’t do the last CalJam because the first one was so fun, the second didn’t compare for me. Also, it’s too fucking hot.
