Viva Death is great. I wish Scott would tour it.
He sort of insinuated it once, but considering he's just one dude and reckons like 5 people will show up...it'll never happen.
Putting out records already cost him out of pocket.
That sucks that it puts him out of pocket. It would be cool if the original band did a set at a festival they were all playing already or something.
I guess it also doesn't help that so much of their sound comes from engineering and would be difficult to recreate live.
Don't listen to VD in your car. You'll be convinced its breaking down.
I'd settle for Face to Face just playing more UK tours

F2F havn't been here since 2014, and very likely won't ever again. They've been fucked over by at least 2 touring companies and lost money each time, and no one will pay them their asking fee as a support band out here.
This is very much a 'woe is me' post, but at least they make it to Europe fairly routinely. Europe is much closer to the UK than it is to Aus 😔😅

Possibly. Though their european touring company /tour manager is based out of the UK so my fingers are crossed for you.
I most recently saw them in Germany, so maybe next time I'll treck over to the UK...

TCV is probably #1, followed closely by The Fire Theft.
Yeah TCV is the best side band. I also loved his work with the Licks. Probot is also killer.

I absolutely love Shiflett's last two records, as well as his first Dead Peasants record.
They are meant to be coming to the UK next year for Slam Dunk festival. They are on the line up poster! 👍️ Me First And The Gimme Gimmes are also there too. So two related side project bands in one festival! Double Whammy! 😁
