At time stamp 2:58 right before the chorus (a highlight of the album for me because of Violet) and then again at the end of this wonderful song, Dave (who recorded all the drum parts on the album prior to Josh Freese joining FF, uses a drum beat that is exactly like the beginning of the song "Kiss Them For Me" by Siouxsie & The Banshees from their 1991 Superstition album. Did anyone else notice that? And does the new drummer follow up with this nod to the nineties by Dave live?

Cheers OB ;)
Is that Violet on backing vocals?
no, it’s me
no…I’ve not actually listened to it yet as im at a film festival right now frustratingly
stunning vocals!!!! can't wait to see you do it live.
Have fun at the festival! 😎
This album is going to be stupid good. This is great.
yeah it must be Violet. its a beautiful song.
this album really does not quit does it 😃. so far so good.
Yep! Another good’un & Vi sounds great!
Very pretty song, really looking forward to the album now!
This album is definitely going to break me.
This is probably my favourite new song so far. It reminds me musically a lot of NHC to be honest, that soaring guitar sound - chills
So far the lyrics have all been so direct and so clear in their meaning. It's really quite raw.
I thought the same. Beautifully crafted songs so far but heartbreaking at the same time.
I’m enjoying the sound, singing along but deeply sad on the inside.
Yes it’s Violet, she’s said she was very happy with it on her Insta stories.
At first I thought it was a T song but a couple of lines in it, nope, it’s about his Mum…😞
This is so damm good
What a fantastic song this one. Another one that sounds like it could have fit on TINLTL or In Your Honor quite easily.
Wow...just wow. I think this album will have the laid-back feel of TINLTL.
This reminds me of Smashing Pumpkins
Ohh! That's a good comparison. I can see it.

I did not notice, because i have never heard that song before, but Hawkins was a fan of siouxsie and the banshees, so it might be an intentional nod.
