Presale codes
What’s with the giving out of presale codes with the tour announcements?
Surely this negates the idea of presale codes?
What is the point of signing up to the news letter if the codes are freely available on social media?
Giving out the codes just makes the presale general sale unless you don’t do social media.

I know, I’m just about to turn out the light last night when I saw the email come in and then next minute Twitland notification! Then of course had to check it all out, dates still not suitable, damn, more waiting!

They're really pushing this social media thing aren't they.
Well, we got two exclusive photos with the email version at least.
It is strange though, presumably the thought train is that still only the "dedicated" fans actively follow them on social media, but as others have said, it's not like it's hard for the news to spread to those that don't. Not that it didn't happen before, but obviously a lot more people are following them than got the newsletter.
I guess though, they’ve posted it and then put two of the three shows on presale straight away. So if you are following it’s kinda like ‘oh here’s a date I can do, best get tickets immediately’ mentality.
I don’t agree with putting the codes on social - but I also feel like everything about this tour is different. Maybe it’s just a trial.
It's more effort to sign up for a newsletter than click "like" on Facebook.
I follow all kinds of crap on there but probably only get newsletters from a handful of bands.

Seems a bit like they targeting younger fans who are on social media all day rather than the older folks who've been around a while and like forums and newsletters.
I can't be on social media much at work because I'm busy. Luckily I have WhatsApp alerts on and lovely folks alert me when things happen 😂

Haven’t presale codes been publicly available for the last few tours? I’ve not had a code via email since maybe espg, maybe not even then!

If you havent got a ticket well B4 gen sale these days you are in with the "will go but not a huge fan" group.
That said they always hold over good seats etc for Gen- you just have to be first.
I wanna see them do it for a 500 person secret gig hehehe
