This was in the press release for the van tour, you can also see it on the Nasty Little Man site.
All Shows To Feature Sneak Peek of Dave Grohl’s New Documentary WHAT DRIVES US
In addition to customary all-night rock n roll marathons from 1995 Van Tour veterans Grohl, Mendel and Smear and their longtime comrades Taylor Hawkins, Chris Shiflett and Rami Jaffee, each and every 2020 Van Tour show will feature a very special opening attraction: A sneak peek at an excerpt from Dave Grohl’s brand new documentary WHAT DRIVES US. Foo Fighters’ 2020 Van Tour will feature a short preview from Dave’s deep dive into what possesses a particular tribe of human beings to leave behind jobs, families, relationships and any semblance of sanity to climb into a busted ass econoline and take their music to the people–or at least a dozen or so of them here and there. WHAT DRIVES US explores motivations, recounts personal anecdotes, and explores the physical and psychological toll of touring in vans via interviews with members of van tour veteran bands ranging from Black Flag and Dead Kennedys to Metallica and The Beatles, and many, many more.

How exciting!!
You son of a bitch (Dave Grohl)...I'm in.
Is there anything they do that is not cool. Hot damn.
So cool!
hold up....this didn't come out yet, right
I haven’t seen anything no
Not that I know of.
Re the spooky movie, I saw a comment from someone who said still waiting for release, they'd worked on the film...
Imagine if the spooky movie WAS the album making of documentary. Normal making of the album by day, Paranomal Activity at night. And it got more fictionalized as it went on.
(kidding (unless...))
In an interview this week Nate mentioned that after the record was done, the band had a “kind of filming project thing” that “involved working with large groups of people” that they were in the middle of when the pandemic shut everything down. That’d probably be the horror thing, seeing as Whitney Cummings mentioned it in early May.
Dave talked about the What Drives Us documentary in an interview this week. He said it's in post production and he watched the final cut the other day and it was coming very soon.
WHAT DRIVE US Photografics would be stay to a Travel Magazine like Conde Nast Travel or Travel National Geographic .My coleccion would be thanked! I adores indoor landscape in little pictures.

Oh, wonderful
So it's gonna be on Amazon Prime? I don't understand what Coda Collection is.
it's a new streaming channel really....
(on a side note, ripping off the slick style of Criterion Collection in my opinion! haha)
Looks like it will be on Amazon Prime indeed but i think it's a subscription streaming service... or something
precisely. within Amazon Prime, you have options to subscribe to smaller streaming services, like Shudder or MUBI
Ugh, and I guess it won't be available in MX.
What is the song at the intro of the trailer? Cause Shazam recognize the others but not this one
The fb post info states it will be just on Amazon Prime outside of the USA, and not in the Coda Collection. Sucks that if I wanna see this I gotta pay for another channel just to see one thing I want to see. I already have all of the other Foo stuff on the Coda Collection!
Ah, didn’t caught that! Thanks!
Looking forward to this. Shame it isn't offered on blu ray (yet)
Out today!
I found it to be messy regarding the main topic. It takes a bit to get to the vam stuff then deviates all over the place.
But it was a super entertaining mess. All the stories were super cool.
Should have been a series, it could easily be expanded to a handful of episodes, but whatever, it was cool.
I can't see it on Amazon Prime here in the Netherlands. Isn't it out yet? Anyone have the same problem?
