A writer who works for the Australian newspaper, has an interview article with Dave, where he has mentioned Them Crooked Vultures could be back together very soon, i quote "Its only a matter of time."

no doubt a one-off show in a beautiful country and a unique location will make for a better experience π
and knowing what was coming this year, it's a good thing they got to play a bunch of UK shows in 2019 so that people could see them

Dave teased the band first in 2005, and the album was released in 2009. This is clearly a project they fit in between other projects, and it could still be a long time before we hear anything again.
