Current known issues
- User titles that would appear under your username are not working. They cannot be updated as expected from the user profile.
- People are unable to create or edit usernames with a space, dots or other unusual punctuation in the username.
Post below any issues you have with the forum, I'll add them to the list above and work to get them fixed ASAP.

In my profile settings...I'm currently unable to change the 'theme' from
lightto dark.it might have something to do with my username, as when I attempt to save it says 'Usernames must be 3-20 characters and consist of letters, numbers, and underscores.'
...not a particularly huge problem. I just generally prefer dark theme websites (easy on the eyes) ☺️
Hmmm, strange the forum let me generate users that wouldn't be possible via the normal way.

Is there a way to make the green smilie from the old board work? It has been a staple of my posting for years and feel a bit lost without him.
It would prevent one of my favorite users from being able to post!

If I click to quote a post, I get taken back up the page to my last read point, and not down to the Comment box. Is it supposed to do that?

Yeah that seems to be the case, not sure why. I'll add it to the list!
So I looked into that, It apparently does that because it assumes after quoting someone, you'll still want to continue reading the unread posts before you actually reply. If you notice, it snaps to the next unread post after the one you quote.
So it's working as intended, and I can kinda see the logic, that you should read everything before replying, but I'll still see if I can change it.
Now that I'm sort of used to it, I don't mind it!
Though I've noticed if you quote something and then move onto the next page, it won't still be there unless you back track.
And about the sort order?
Having the newest post at the bottom of all posts is going to be insanely annoying when there are many pages?

Cant preview posts - ie as they will be seen before posting?
Cant edit the media links or delete them after posting.... when they duplicated for some unknown reason.

And thank you - seriously - I'm still pissed at losing the board - but I absolutely appreciate what you have done here and no way is anything I'm adding a criticism (though it might read like it as I write "bugs" bluntly lol) . Either way we will get there or live with what we have and get used to it :-)
Nope not a problem, I'm obviously not taking any issues you guys give personally, I'll just try to fix what I can when I can.
Sure and great - you know me anyway, but I just wanted that to be clear to everyone.
I get "open thread" action needs to go one way or the other - ie first post or last post. We used to be able to select by user, seems based on your number of posts per page reply, that these kind of settings are global.
In which case it will just be an annoyance factor to open a thread that it 123 pages long hand have to then also click - LAST to get to where you were.
One other one I've found is on replies to long posts I get a box with the quoted post (at top in box) with a down arrow - yet the arrow does nothing to scroll down the orig post - may be my browser.
So just to be clear, when you click to open a topic you're supposed to be taken to your last unread post, wherever that may be. If you've read all the posts, it should take you to the latest post. Is that not happening for you?
As for the arrow on big quotes if it's what I think you mean, that is supposed to expand the quote to show you the full thing. Does it not?
I only post on my phone (so I don't know if it happens on a lap top/tablet/ etc) but I always get the big yellow info at the top.
This may have already been mentioned, and explained, but if not can that be limited?

The welcome message thing you mean? There should be an X to remove it in the top right but if not don't worry, I'll probably remove it entirely soon anyway, most people are settled in now.

Seems to be a browser issue. Guess I finally need to update my copy of Windows 95 🤣
Does it have javascript disabled? The snap to latest comment is just a super simple anchor link (#latest) that should be supported on any browser but I believe on top of that it uses JS to make it smooth.
