rule 2: so albums, greatest hits... do the ep's have to be represented?
as i'd probably ignore skin and bones being a live album and then the only song I may pick otherwise is from st cecilia
I did include Greatest Hits and Skin & Bones to represent each release.
I did not include Record Store Day EPs.
ok perfick ta.
no particular order, went down itunes and filling it in as I went. Left some big hits out as if they liked it i'm sure they'd find them.
Edit: Realised I was missing one so added 20 ☺️
Nice! I do love Arrows. That is a terrific tune!
i had it down at about 25, and just took a few out for the list.
And I agree. My favourite from the album was The Line originally but Arrows just grew on me the more I listened to it.
Two of my preferred Foo tunes, no doubt.

Going by experience ... if you're trying to introduce someone to a band, it's best for a few songs -- 20, even 10 is overkill. I've found people much more willing to give a band a chance if you give them just 3 or 4 tracks! No one wants to play hours of a band they are not familiar with!
I know from experience in reverse as well -- a friend about 2 years ago gave me a disk of a band called Deer Tick, with about 15 songs, I've still never played it!! He's even stopped asking me about it.
Very valid point. It's the reason why it took me years to get into The Doors, Dinosaur Jr. and The Black Keys. Less is often more when it's new to you.
Fun to make the playlist, however.
