Your first post asked did people know the name of Dave Grohl’s first band, then you post an excerpt of an article saying while playing with that first band he met Barrett Jones and later played with him in another band altogether called Churn.
You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make them drink. Completely to you if you want to ignore the reference, just odd you all missed it in the first place.
What I said still stands. It takes place on a dairy farm, that name is a pun based on that.
I’ve said elsewhere they were down to do a secret set for Glastonbury’s (cancelled) 50th, they were down to headline Glastonbury’s one-day fest Equinox (cancelled). They have a big gap in their tour schedule.
All of these things suggested Foo Fighters rather than a tenuous link to his friends band from 40 years ago.
I was really, really looking forward to that one, the amazing venue and hanging around with friends in a bar drinking wine during the day! Plus I’d booked this amazing old hotel, all stone and beams etc.

You’ve just contradicted yourself.

Enjoy your stay, Poo Biter
“Churning up these emotions together.”
Either Dave is doing some top level trolling, or that’s the biggest Glastonbury hint you need.
You were all saying??
Totally. There are no coincidences with this band…

We were saying strolling in here out of nowhere and being arrogant like you are to forum regulars is really not the way to start.
It's gotta be them, right!?!?!?! :D
Are we hoping there a little bit of breathing space before Europe 24 announced or are we baws deep into planning UK and Europe at same time !?
Europe will start being announced with festivals the next few months... then the gaps will be filled after
Good to know , will give my bank account time to recover!
I'm hoping they can reschedule the rock in rio or whatever its re-branaded as now as it was a great venue , location and set up
Just guesswork from me, but it does seem likely if they're in the UK they'll do Europe too so its more of a waiting game for that
I'm hoping for a European Festival date somewhere like Portugal to round off what would be a brilliant summer.
I'm hoping for Nimes to be re booked!!
I’m hoping for Vienna!
YES! This is a great shout!
Vienna would be lovely!
Yes! The venue for Nimes looked epic.
I think Germany ruled out because of the euros

Oh well, let’s hope!
I can't afford Europe now, but if they announced a Circus Maximus date in Rome I'd have to reconsider.
Oh wow I hadn’t thought of that….. that would be incredible. I see a few bands playing there lately.
I've seen clips and it looks amazing, seeing a band there is on our gig bucket list. It's my favourite city too, so double plus.
