And Dream Widow is on its way! ... I just read a couple online reviews of it. Unfortunately one review calls it "Dream Widow" EP, so I am assuming its only 4 to 5 songs.
Edit ... I just read another, also calling it an EP, but states it contains 8 tracks. And I saw mention of a 10 minute song, so that hardly qualifies as an EP. This appears to be a full length album, for digital release only (for now).
It's already out in Australia and some other countries! 'Lacrimus Dei Ebrius' is the 10-minute track. Haven't sat down to listen to the whole thing yet but the movie track is everything you'd hoped it would be.
After having listened, this has the vibes of old school death and thrash metal, but also is just amazing as hell. The production is much higher value than Probot was and you can tell Dave was having a ton of fun making this. If this gets a physical release, I'm buying it!
My friend was telling me the other week that he thought Foos were too poppy and needed to go back to heavier stuff. Sent him this and he replied "nah, not a fan."
He was also telling me how Biffy have been weak on recent albums but they're back to rocking on The Myth of the Happily Ever After. I don't think it's any different from the past few albums. I've liked all Biffy though. Don't see any of it as weak.
I feel like this album shares a bit of DNA with the Saint Cecilia EP. Was listening the other day and several points I was thinking well that's Saviour Breath and then other bits seemed similar to other parts on that EP

Ah, was not aware there was a separate streaming date ... there remains hope!
Where will it be streamable?
Movie? It seems it's now online on Amazon Prime (for rent) and it was on Apple as a pre-sale.
If you meant Dream Widow, god knows.
Ah, meant the movie!
Not available in the EU iTunes as of yet 😬
march 25 for Dream Widow, according to the most recent email!
That is great news! A few more days ...
I'm actually more excited for this than I was for MaM
😂

It's a solid 7/10 for me at the moment.

One listen so far ... I'd say Probot is definitely better - might be I need a few more listens for a fairer comparison.
Still ..." 'Lacrimus Dei Ebrius' is the 10-minute track" is a pretty epic track! This one is clearly my favorite after 1 listen.
I really really like this!
@lilmanjs I think the vocals are mixed badly here.
Probot for me @wickedgravity is also better overall. This feels like FFL Foo Territory. The album IYH rock disc could have been
This is amazing! I love it!
Gave it a spin on Friday! It’s great… but as others have said Probot is superior in my opinion… but this is still fun! 😌
I'm having a huge amount of trouble listening to it.
The release date...
The title...
The genre...
It's all a bit too fucking freaky.

Some people have weird opinions 😂
Got to admit I'm loving this record a lot. Hoping it'll get a CD release down the road.
It's not my type of music, so it's pretty good but I'll probably won't give it too many listens.
I was listening to it when I heard the T news, I think it'll take me a minute to seperate that association.

I feel like this is Probot’s mean big brother,
Of the best metal albums in a long time, even though it’s a fun, tribute-ish one!
